Preloved is a line of recycled fashion out of Toronto. They started in 1995 and have been an industry leader ever since. Strong, classic yet daring design puts Preloved in a field of its own. I think they sum it up on their website perfectly “Preloved creates one-of-a-kind clothing from reclaimed vintage fabrics. Our passion is design and our philosophy is sustainability. “
Ethics
Preloved clothing is not always 100% recycled, it varies by line and by piece and the new material is not necessarily eco-friendly. But they don’t hide any of this, just ask at one of their boutiques and they will explain the ethics of each line. All their clothing is made in Toronto by a large clothing manufacturer.
